I understand culture as a treasure that is a part of our collective memory, of our perception of ourselves.

Culture is us
We make it
We shape it as we love it to be

The more we know about the cultures of others, the more open minded tolerant and global we become.
.
Our cultural traits, value and beliefs are different and diverse.

Most student's definition, the culture is different each other nation's religion, manner, arts, language...
and the culture is pass down among the generation. The culture also pass down to you.
My opinion about the "Culture Definition" is under the one nation, traditionally, they have been keeping their arts, letters, mannersm scholarly pursuits, religion and humanities. like different between the Korean and the United States.
then, constantly, they are creating their arts, letters, mannersm scholarly pursuits and humanities.

Video Assignment- Did you know?

Did you know?

The part of the video, “Today’s 21-year-olds have Watched20,000 hours of TV” It is about 2years, “Today’s 21-year-olds have played 10,000 hours of video games” It is about one year, and “Today’s 21-year-olds have talked 10,000 hours on the phone” It is about one years. Definitely, the something like I.T  are very development and useful but I’m not sure that the electronic machines are useful unquestioningly. The 4-year-olds even used a computer more than 70%.  Although we need electronic machines for our convenient life, the electronic machine is very bad to our health. So I think about the using electronic machine is negative.

But I’m positive about development something like I.T. We can search the information on the diverse websites. For example, there were more than 2,700,000,000 searches performed on Google. For that reason we can find more information and can be much smarter. We also sharing the information can be more convenient. And the internet is developing in our life, there are more than 540,000 words in the English language about five times as many as during Shakespeare’s time (widget, web-surfer, blog, e-learner, internet). So I think about the development Internet is positive.

When I watched the video, I like this kind of we didn’t know about it. The video mostly deal with Internet and I.T. The first commercial text message was dent in December 1992 and the number of text message sent and received today. And while predictions further out than 15 years are hard to do 2049 a $1,000 computer will exceed the computing capabilities of the human race. Thus, the Internet and I.T are very developing in our life. So we should make good use the Internet and I.T in our class and studying. The John Carroll high school now are using  a laptop. Although we close to electronic machines, we should make good use the Internet for our class and studying. If we use the laptop well, we can expect good effect in our study.

Culture is the quality in a person or society that arises from a concern for what is regarded as excellent in arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits, etc.

Then, my opinion about the "Culture Definition" is under the one nation, traditionally, they have been keeping their arts, letters, mannersm scholarly pursuits and humanities.
then, constantly, they are creating their arts, letters, mannersm scholarly pursuits and humanities
and they will be creating their arts, letters, manners, scholarly pursuits and humanities,
so the cultures represent their country to the another country and they also export their culture.
Culture is the systems of knowledge shared by a relatively large group of people.
Therefore, the culture is very important to the country, so we have to protect and we have to create our culture, we also study and understand our culture.
